In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

March 27 – Officers responded to 500 East Fields, trailer 15, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a tablet. Suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Tyler W Miller, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with two counts of domestic assault third degree. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 106 East Lafayette concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a bike frame. Suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

March 28 – Arrests: Newell R. Howell, 53, of Kansas City, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear for the original charges driving while revoked and expired plates with a $560 bond. He was released after a court appearance.

Kevin D. Scott, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for a Bates County warrant, charging him with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond of $10,000.  He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 505 West Martin concerning a reported trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Landon J. Daniel, 28, and Brittney J. Duncan, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with trespassing in the first degree. They were release on summonses pending a court appearance.

March 29 – Officers responded to 400 South Park concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Chelsea S Duncan, 23, and Courtney D Scheckel, 21, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with peace disturbance. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Boyd T. Culbertson, 22, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with no operators license. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

March 30 – Arrest: William F. Schaal, 48, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with fugitive from justice for a Wyandotte County, KS, probation violation warrant on the original charge of possession of Oxycodone. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and extradition.

March 31 – Officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a purse and its contents from a shopping cart. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Jesse R. Voegelle, 27, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing and Thomas B. Jewell, 36, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with three counts of stealing and two counts of faudulent use of credit card. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Jimmie D. Webb Jr., 31, of Rich Hill, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with domestic assault, third degree, third or subsequent offense, with a $1500 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

April 1 – Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Missouri 32 Highway concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a bicycle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Shane H. Gardiner, 39, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with larceny. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to the storage units in the 300 block of East Hayden concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of tools. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1404 South Summer Street concerning a reported domestic disturbance.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of Steven W. Whitesell, 36, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with domestic assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

April 2 – Arrest: Lendia S. Dipman, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while revoked, failure to register, and no proof of insurance. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields, trailer number 15, concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
