In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

April 4 – Arrests: Loretta L. Stroble, 49, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Platte County warrant, charging her with a probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with a $10,000 cash only bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Juliette E. Smith, 49, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant, charging her with a felony driving while revoked with a bond of $5,000 cash or surety bond. She was transported to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

David T. Smith, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Nevada Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear to answer to no valid operator’s license and expired license plate with a $130 cash only bond. He was released on a recognizance pending a court appearance.

Martin P. McGee for an active Cedar County probation violation warrant on the original charge of driving while revoked, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by deputies of the Cedar County Sheriff’s office and a St. Clair County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit served a search warrant at 305 South Grand after receiving information of illegal drug activity.  Officers located and seized evidences of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John E. Shaw, 49, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by deputies of the Cedar County Sheriff’s office and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit served a search warrant at 107 West Lafayette after receiving information of illegal drug activity.  Officers located and seized illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Falen M. Andrews, 34, of El Dorado Springs, at the residence, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released of summonses. As a result of the investigation Cedar County deputies assisted by El Dorado Springs officers conducted an investigative stop of a blue Jeep Cherokee. The stop resulted in the arrests of  Shayla G. Sloan, 22 ,of El Dorado Springs, charging her with possession of drug paraphernali, and an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with failure to appear with a $75.50 bond; Lawrence L. Hill, Jr, 51, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of marijuana, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance; Leslie C. Houts, 47, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession drug paraphernalia, active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of driving while suspended with a bond of $275.50 and a Cedar County w arrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of possession of marijuana, driving while suspended and seat belt violation with a $500 cash only bond, and Jessica A. Haslock, 29, of Stockton, charging her with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Officers completed probable cause statements for Lawrence Hill and Haslock. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Hill with a Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance and Class E felony of keeping or maintaining a public nuisance with a bond of $15,000 cash only and a Cedar County warrant charging Haslock with a Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance with a $15,000 bond.  Haslock, Hill and Houts were transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

April 5 – Arrests: Steven A. Caudill, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant, charging him with burglary in the second eegree, with a $5,000 bond. This is a result of an ongoing investigation concerning the burglary of the El Dorado Mexican Cantina.  Caudill was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Kenneth W. Johnson, Jr, 38, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear per court ordered subpoena with a $75.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

April 6 – Arrest: Angela I. Teeter, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for Pettis County warrants, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended with a bond of $2,500, for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked/suspended, with a bond of $2,500 and for failure to appear on the original charges of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, with a bond of $25,000, Sunrise Beach Municipal warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of operated a motor vehicle with no financial Responsibility with a bond of $200 cash, failure to appear on the original charge of DWI drugs intoxication, with a bond of $500 cash or pro, failure to appear on the original charge of expired plates with a bond of $100 cash, failure to appear on the original charge of possess drug paraphernalia with a bond of $200 cash, failure to appear on the original charge of miscellaneous controlled Substance with a bond of $500 cash, failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked or suspended with a bond of $500. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Officers responded to 410 East  54 Hwy, McDonald’s, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US currency.  Suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

April 7 – Officers responded to 500 East Fields, Trl 19, concerning a reported larceny. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

April 8 – Arrests: Chayne R. Bittner, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Nevada Municipal warrant with a $4,426.80 cash only bond. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Amanda G. Johnson, 24, of New Town, ND, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of endangering the welfare of a child with a $225.50 bond  and  Vernon County warrants charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of seat belt with a $10 cash bond, failure to Appear on the original charge of driving while revoked with a $150 cash bond, failure to Appear on the original charge of failed to yield, with a $101 cash bond. She was released on bond pending court appearances.

James R. Willmore, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

April 9 – Officers responded to 408 North Grand, Apt 48, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US currency. The investigation resulted in the arrested Chasity N. Bell, 22, of El Dorado Springs, and James W. Machabee, 28, of Brighton, charging them with stealing. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Arrests Alyssa A. Woodall, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of peace disturbance with a $132.20 cash only bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Elizabeth D. Anderson, 31, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of forgery with a $1,000 cash only bond, a Cedar County warrant for five counts of assault on law enforcement in the 2nd degree with a $5,000 cash or surety bond and two El Dorado Springs Municipal warrants, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of first degree trespassing with a $175.50 bond and assault on police officer with a $801 bond.  She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Officers responded to 600 South Jackson concerning a domestic disturbance involving an edged weapon. The investigation resulted in the arrest of David E. Fowler, 25, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and property damage.  Officer completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Fowler is being held pending warrant.
