EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 21 – Officers responded to the 100 block of East Spring concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US currency. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Aug 22 – Officers responded to a reported disturbance at 508 South Grand . The investigation resulted in the arrest of Ginny L. Lavallee, 39, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 1702 South Jackson concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields Street concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Theodore L. Meche, 38, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault (on law enforcement officer), resisting arrest and peace disturbance by fighting. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Aug 23 – Arrest: Bobbie M Mayer, 48, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on right half of roadway. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 409 South Forrest concerning a report of property damage.  A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Sarah E. Woodall, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with obstruction by filing a false police report. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 508 South Grand concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dusty J. Lavallee, 18, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with resisting arrest and assault (on law enforcement officer). He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Aug 18 – arrest: Bret M. Gish, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no valid operator’s license with a $300 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Aug 26 – Arrests: Charles S. Green, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with failure to appear for traffic violation with a $137 cash bond.  He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Megan R. Rigg, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear on an original charge of failing to secure child less than 16 years of age, with a $250 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.
