In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Sept 5  Officers responded to 410 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of jumper, playhouse with a slide and a play center. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 205 1/2 West 54 Hwy concerning a reported larceny from a vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet, ID, EBT card and  check book.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields Street concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Chelsea S. Duncan, 23, and Darion M. Hammond, 22, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with peace disturbance. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Sept 6 – Officers responded to 1307 South Missouri 32 Hwy, Shopko, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black and green Creed Watch. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Juston K. Jackson, 24, of Harwood, for a Cedar County, warant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a motor vehicle with vision reducing material with a $100 cash bond, two Bates County warrants charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no insurance with a $2,500 bond and for failure to appear on the original charge of wrong license plates with a $250 bond. He was released on bond and summonses pending court appearances.

Sept 7 – Officers responded to 302 A South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Toni E. Bittner, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County  warrant charging her with stealing class D felony with a $1,500 cash bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to 114 Winner Road concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of one Zebco 5 foot fishing pole and three Abu Garcia fishing poles. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Sept 8 – Arrest: Nathan J. Vance, 25, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while revoked. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 1300 Green Ridge Road concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Timothy J. Henderson, 57, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Sept 9 – Arrest: Shannon C. Burns, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked, with a $258.50 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to 308 South Ohio concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Thomas B. Jewell, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Sept 10 -, officers responded to 100 East  54 Hiwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation revealed the theft of several items from the store. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Christopher N. Jackson, 38, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of larceny, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. A probable cause statement was completed for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Jackson with possession of marijuana, stealing and resisting arrest with no bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.
