In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Sept 18 – Officers responded to 608 South First Street, Century Link, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of .22 gage wiring.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 312 West  54, Wood’s Supermarket, concerning a reported assault. Suspects have been identified, a report was taken and the investigation continues.

Sept 19 – Officers responded to 205 1/2 West 54 Hwy, Dollar General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet containing $487 in cash, two debit cards, driver’s license and a check.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Sept 20 –  Officers responded to 705 South Main concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Toshiba tablet. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.

Sept 21 – Officers responded to 115 West Spring concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 3112 West 54 Hwy, Wood’s Supermarket concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of alcoholic beverage. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Austin L. Noland, 20, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with larceny and minor in possession. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Theodore L. Meche, 38, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with fugitive from justice for an active warrant from Calcasieu Parish, LA, with no bond. Officers completed a probable cause statement for a fugitive from justice. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging him with fugitive from justice with a no bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending extradition.

Sept 22 – Officers responded to 115 East 54 Hwy, Pitt Stop, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of gasoline. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Sept 23 — Officers responded to 115 Winner Rd concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet containing credit, debit, social security, insurance cards and driver’s license. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrests: Patricia A. Willen, 57, of Rockaway Beach, for a Warren County warrant, charging her with probation violation on the original charge of burglary, with a $5,000 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Adam W. Prewitt, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear to answer to the original charge of stealing with a $325 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to 1307 South 32 Hiwy, Shopko, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a 32 inch Samsung television. A report taken and the investigation continues.
