In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Oct 2 – Arrest: Steven A. Caudill II, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant charging him with probation violation with no bond, a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of drug possession with no bond, and El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging him with Failure to appear per Court Order. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending court appearances.

Officers responded to 222 West Olive concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of jewelry. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 135 West Spring concerning a report of disorderly conduct. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jacob A. Bowman, 22, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with disorderly conduct in a Park, driving while intoxicated and assault. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Oct  3 – Officers responded to 317 West Spring concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a license plate. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrests: Bradley W. West, 52, of El Dorado Springs, for two Cedar County warrants, charging him with probation violation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance and 2nd degree domestic assault with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

David T. Smith, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for a Nevada Municipal Court warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no valid driver’s license and expired plates with a $522.20 cash bond. He was transferred to Nevada Police Department pending a court appearance.

Oct 4 – Officers responded to 315 East Fields, Apt D, concerning a reported domestic disturbance the investigation resulted in the arrests of Deanna D. Kish, 44, and Joseph L. Kish, 36, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 113 West Broadway concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Michael S. Brigman, 48, of Nevada, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Oct 6 – Officers responded to 316 South Park concerning tampering with a motor vehicle and larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a license plate. The plate was located and returned to owner. The investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1300 Greenridge Road, Apt A3, concerning a disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Timothy J. Henderson, 57, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Oficers responded to 111 North Kirkpatrick concerning a reported attempt larceny. The investigation revealed the attempted theft of a lawn mower. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Oct 8 – Officers responded to 500 East Fields concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Chayne R. Bittner, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended with a $356.50 bond, and two Vernon County warrants, charging him with domestic assault-second Degree, and failure to appear for trespassing and two counts of Assault with a $1,200 bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported larceny of a wallet that occurred at 115 East 54 Hiwy. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 309 East Martin concerning a reported trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandon Keith, 34, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with failure to obey a lawful request and resisting arrest. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.
