In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Jan 1 – Arrest: Santana L Hudson, 29, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Jan 1 – Officers responded to 608 North Jackson concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 2 – 0fficers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John R. Herndon Jr, 19, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Jan 2 – arrest; Levi R. Sieleman, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Bates County Warrant, charging him with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with a $10,000 cash bond and a Henry County warrant  charging him with probation violation on the original charge of first degree burglary with a $10,000 cash bond. He was transferred to the Bates County jail pending bond and court appearances.

On January 2, 2018, officers arrested Robin A. Lawson, 43, of El Dorado Springs, St. Clair County Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of No Seat Belt, with a $10.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On January 2, 2018, officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two slices of pizza and a 16 oz bottle of chocolate milk.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 3 – Arrest: James Keen, 65, of El Dorado Springs, for a Phelps County warrant, charging him with receiving stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device with a bond of $25,000, and Lawrence County warrant, charging him with driving While intoxicated with a $10,000 bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Jan 4 – officers responded to 123 West 54 Hwy, Meek’s Lumber, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Mini Maglite flash light, two folding knives and a lock. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 5 – officers responded to 1601 South Vernon concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two televisions and one air-conditioning unit. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 5 – Officers responded to 215 South Main, What Not 2, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a cash register, pocket watch, arrow head and cash. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 5 – Arrest: Stephanie M. Meek, 35, of Jerico Springs, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon, El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with $933 bond. She received summonses and was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Jan 6 –  Arrest: Michelle A Mcintire, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a motorvehicle without maintaining financial responsibility with a $250 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Jan 6 – Officers responded to 1503 South Main concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of tie rod ends, two spade shovels, a tackle box containing radio tubes, and motorcycle parts. A report taken and the investigation continues.
