In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Jan 22 – Officers responded to 512 South Summer concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet, four pair of boots, and two plastic swords. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 22 – Officers responded to 300 East Thompson concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of coins and tools. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 23 –  Arrest: Carmen M. Acuna, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Municipal warrant, for failed to appear to answer to dog running at large, with a $100.50 bond.  She was released on bond.

Jan 24 – Arrest: Jesse M. Hill, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of Assault with a $275.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Jan 24 – Officers responded to 215 West Gay concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 25 -Arrest: Gary J. Greathouse Jr., 20, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a vehicle on highway without a valid license with $151 cash bond.  He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Jan 25 – Arrest: Michael S. Brigman, 48, of Nevada, for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Cedar County warrant, charging him with possession of a controlled substance with a $500 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Jan 26 – Responded to 122 West Martin in reference to a burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a “Briggs and Stratton” generator. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 26, – Officers responded to 1601 South Vernon concerning a reported larceny. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 26 – Officers responded to 100 East  54 hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny – The investigation revealed the theft of cigarettes. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Jan 26 – Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 113 West Broadway after receiving information of illegal drug activity. Evidence of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and stolen property from recent burglaries were located. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Amber C. Moore, 30, Richard A. Guyton, 51, Carmen G. Tucker, 31, and Nicholas R. Robbins, 35, all of El Dorado Springs, charging them with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on summonses pending additional charges.

Jan 27 – officers responded to 222 West Olive concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of James A. Mansell, 34, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Jan 28 – Arrest: Joseph J. Roberts, 39, of Moundville, for a Nevada Municipal Court warrant, charging him with failure to Appear for driving while revoked and no proof ofinsurance with a $853.50 cash bond. He was transferred to Nevada P.D. pending a court appearance.
