In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Feb 12  – Arrest: Jacob J. Patalsky, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for two active warrants, an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on original charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, dtealing and property damage, with a $1,228.50 bond, and a Cedar County warrant, charging him with possession of a controlled substance and stealing, with a $5,000 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Feb 13 – Officers responded to 301 South Forrest concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two marine deep cycle batteries, a battery box, and a solar panel. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Feb 13 –  Officers responded to 302 A South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of William S. Cain, 44, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Feb 13 – Officers responded to 604 South Forrest, Senior Center, concerning a reported trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Alan B. Green, 17, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with trespassing and peace disturbance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Feb 14 – Arrest: Steven A. Caudill, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to obey judge’s urder on the original charge of possession of controlled Substance, with no bond, and a 48 hour hold. He transferred to the Cedar County jail.

Feb 15 – Arrest: Dewey M. Foster, 32, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with no operators license, defective equipment, and no proof of insurance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Feb 16 – Officers responded to the 200 block of East Tywman concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesse R. Voegele, 28, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Feb 17 – Officers responded to 115 East 54 Hwy, Pitt Stop, for a report of larceny (leave without pay). The investigation revealed the theft of $45.08 in fuel.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Feb 17 — Officers responded to 405 South Forrest concerning a report of larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a lap top, 35 MM camera and lenses, shelf with mirror, jewelry box, Mario novelty tins, 20 volt drill, hand tools, pink storage box of beads. A report taken and investigation continues.
