In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

March 13 – Officers responded to 207 South Grand concerning a reported burglary.  The investigation revealed the theft of tools and personal paper work. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 222 West Olive concerning a reported stolen motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a green 2000 Kawaski 300 2 x 4 ATV and a troy built tiller. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Jonathan A. Halcon, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County probation violation warrant, with no bond. He was transported to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

March 14 – Arrest: Darren A. Edmiston, 19, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to obey judge’s order, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 511 South Main concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of mail from the front porch of the residence. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a report of fraud at 724 East 54 Hwy. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Falen Andrews, 35, of El Dorado Springs as the result of a traffic stop for driving while suspended and an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of Shoplifting, with a $175 bond. Additionally, Andrews was arrested for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers located approximately 3.5 grams of crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant, charging Andrews with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful ossession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while sSuspended, with a $15,000 cash bond. Andrews was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearance.

March 15 – Officers responded to 205 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a green 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. The vehicle was later located. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 1103 South Jackson . The investigation revealed the theft of a 30 gallon, gas hot water heater. A report taken and the investigation continues.

March 16 –  officers responded to 509 South Forrest  concerning a reported disturbance. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 307 West Pine  concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a 24 inch black and white Huffy bicycle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Jacob Patalsky, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Cole County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, with a $500 bond. Patalsky was transported to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

March 17 – Officers responded to a report of unlawful use of a credit device at 115 East 54 Hwy.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 702 South Jackson concerning a reported peace disturbance. A report taken and the investigation continues.
