In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On April 23, 2018, officers responded to 301 East Joe Davis concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a red 1995 Dodge Dakota pickup, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

On April 23, 2018, officers arrested James E. Keen, age 66, of El Dorado Springs for an active Phelps County Warrant, charging him with Receiving Stolen Property with no bond and a Lawrence County Warrant, charging him with DWI and no bond. He was transported to Cedar County Sheriff’s Office pending transfer.

On April 23, 2018, officers responded to 305 South Grand Avenue for a report of a larceny.  The investigation reviled the theft of a GPS base unit, which was later recovered. The investigation is continuing.

On April 24, 2018, officers arrested Amber C. Moore, age 30, of El Dorado Springs for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 24, 2018, officers arrested Santana L. Hudson, age 29, of El Dorado Springs for an active Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failed to Appear Per Court Order with the original charge of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond of $426.50.  She was transported to Cedar County Jail for holding.

On April 25, 2018, officers responded to 300 West Marshall Street concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation is continuing.  .

On April 25, 2018, officers arrested Joshua D. Carter, age 39, of El Dorado Springs for License Plates Required and Driving While Revoked. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 25, 2018, officers responded to 401 North St. James Street Apartment D, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a pair of binoculars, music cd’s, and tools, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

On April 25, 2018, officers responded to 409 East Joe Davis Street, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a push mower, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

On April 26, 2018, officers responded to 201 North St. James Street Apartment D, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a hunter green 1995 Dodge Dakota extended cab pickup truck, the vehicle was located and returned to the owner, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

On April 26, 2018, officers responded to 103 West Carmen concerning a reported assault. Suspects have been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

On April 26, 2018, officers arrested Krista S. Jarvis, age 29, of El Dorado Springs for two active Vernon County warrants for Fail to Appear with a cash only bond of $753.00 and Fail to Appear on original charge of Trespassing with a $350.00 cash only bond. She was transferred to Vernon County Sheriff’s Office pending a court appearance.

On April 27, 2018, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, for a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $300.00 in cash. Officers arrested Chandra M. Clark, age 21, of El Dorado Springs for larceny. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 27, 2018, officers arrested Michael S. Brigman, age 48, of El Dorado Springs for an active Cass County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance with a $5000 or 10% cash bond. He was transferred to Vernon County Sheriff’s Office pending extradition to Cass County.

On April 28, 2018, officers arrested Steven L. Corona 47 of El Dorado Springs for an active Cedar County warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Failure to Resister a Motor Vehicle, with a $200.00 cash only bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On April 28, 2018, officers responded to 108 West Hainline Street, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a 49 CC dirt bike, a game camera, and a gray truck chassis, a report was taken, and the investigation is continuing.

On April 29, 2018, officers responded to 103 South Main Street, Jackson’s Western Auto, concerning a reported structure fire.  The investigation revealed the fire was incendiary in nature.  This investigation continues.

On April 29, 2018, officers responded to 501 East U.S. Highway 54 concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of three watches.  A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.
