July 25 – Ricky Wilson, 22, Humansville, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Bates County warrant charging him with class D felony burglary-second degree. The warrant was issued on July 14 and bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from a Butler Police Department investigation on May 1.

July 26 – St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report from Richard Strahle. He reported his 2012 Ford Transit Connect van was stolen from his residence on NE 1021 Rd, Osceola. Strahle named a female suspect who was staying at his residence. He noted when he woke up he noticed the van missing and the female subject and her belongings gone. The value of the vehicle was estimated $15,000. A request for prosecution was signed.

St. Clair County deputy took a report from Kenneth Gurley in reference to a stolen handgun. Gurley reported a 22. caliber Ruger Single Six revolver missing from his residence on Northwest 451 Rd, Lowry City. The value of the handgun was estimated at $629.       

St. Clair County deputy took a report of a stolen vehicle. Mary Scheer reported 1994 Ford F150 truck was stolen from her residence on North Maple Street, Appleton City. The truck was described as maroon with purple waves down the sides. She stated the truck has been missing since June 6.

Misty Roberts, 31, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor passing a bad check-less than $500. The warrant was issued on April 18 and bond is set at $500 cash only. The charge stems from an incident on May 18, 2016.

Misty Roberts, 31, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor passing a bad check-less than $500. The warrant was issued on April 18 and bond is set at $500\ cash only. The charge stems from an incident on May 18, 2016.

July 27 – Lucas Boone, 23, Springfield, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Taney County warrant for failing to appear in court on two class C felony charges of possession of a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Feb. 21 and bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from a Taney County Sheriff’s office investigation on Feb. 3, 2015.

Boon’s arrest came after a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Boone was a passenger in. During the investigation a clear plastic container with white crystal substance inside was located in the vehicle. The white substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Formal charges are pending from the investigation.

July 28 – Kipp Christopher, 21, Holt, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Taney County warrant for failing to appear in court on an unclassified misdemeanor charge of minor visibly intoxicated. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. The original charge stems from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on April 23, 2016.

July 28, Tracie Hudson, 57, Raymore, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor driving while intoxicated-prior offender. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.

The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on July 28 when a deputy was dispatched to a report of a suspicious person at the Pilot Travel Center, Collins. Contact was made with Hudson when she was using a window squeegee to wash her car. During the investigation it was determined Hudson was under the influence. She made admissions to being under the influence of methamphetamine and operating the vehicle. A check revealed Hudson was convicted of driving while intoxicated in a prior case. She was taken into custody pending the formal charge.

Bradley Cowen, 52, Memphis, TN, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony driving while intoxicated-aggravated. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.

The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation on July 27 when a deputy was notified of a careless driver traveling north on Hwy 13, Osceola.  A traffic stop was conducted after the deputy observed the vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The deputy smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. Cowen stated he did not have a driver’s license. A check revealed his license is currently revoked in Tennessee for driving under the influence. Further investigation determined Cowen was intoxicated. He was taken into custody pending the formal charge.

Lucas Boone, 23, Springfield, was arrested in St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance. The warrant was issued the same day and bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Sandra Boone, 54, Ozark, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

July 30 – Daniel Smith, 42, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with violation to his probation on an original class A misdemeanor domestic assault-third degree charge. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

The original charge stems from an investigation on Dec. 31, 2015, when a St. Clair County deputy responded to a domestic disturbance on NW 151 Rd, Lowry City. Smith hit a female victim in the face with his fist, placed her in a head lock, and hit her again multiple times. The victim had a bite injury to her left wrist and her left shoulder. In September 2016 he plead guilty and was sentenced to serve one year in county jail. The execution of sentence was suspended and Smith was placed on supervised probation for two years. He was  ordered to serve five-days shock time.

St. Clair County deputy took a report of illegal dumping on SW 1371 Rd, Osceola. Steve Woody stated he found a large amount of trash dumped on the side of the road. Numerous pieces of evidence was located and seized.

July 31- Shanna Case, 44, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with two class D felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation the previous day at a residence on SW 50 Rd, Osceola. During the investigation a glass pipe with white crystal substance inside was located in the same room as Case. A light green purse was located next to the pipe. A metal box with one Alprazolam prescription pill was located in the purse along with another box containing two bags with a white crystal substance inside. The white substance field tested positive for methamphetamines.

Case was also arrested on a Hickory County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing-second degree. Bond on this charge is set at $50 cash only.

Aug. 3 – Jacob Hudgens, 40, Wheatland, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation in the early morning hours the same day when a deputy was patrolling on NE 50 Rd, Osceola, and noticed a vehicle parked off the roadway in the grass with a male subject standing outside the vehicle.

While speaking to the male subject two additional subjects emerged from a nearby creek bed.  One of those individuals was Hudgens. During the investigation a small clear plastic bag containing a white crystal substance was located in a pack of  cigarettes in Hudgens’ pocket. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
