Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made two arrests and took a burglary report during the week of March 26-30, 2018.

Warrant Arrests

Ronald Park- On March 27, Ronald Park, 60, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

The charge comes from the Osceola Police Department for an incident on Nov. 11, 2017.

Ronald Campbell- On March 26, Ronald Campbell, 32, Rich Hill, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to pay fines on a class D misdemeanor of no insurance and an unclassified misdemeanor failure to yield to vehicle/pedestrian lawfully in controlled of intersection/crosswalk. Total bond is set at $305 cash only.

The charges stem from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Feb. 23, 2017.

Burglary in Osceola

On March 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NE 276 Road in reference to a burglary.

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Thomas Chambers. Chambers stated when he left his property, he had locked all doors, turned out all the lights, and turned off the water to the house. On March 27, Chambers received a phone call from a neighbor, informing him that someone had been in the residence and the lights were on.

Deputies arrived on scene and cleared the residence, looking for any persons. The main entry door window was broken out. Chambers entered the house and stated that it had been completely ransacked. Chambers stated that whoever had been in the residence had gone through everything.

Evidence and photographs were collected from the scene. A request for prosecution was filled out.
