The deputy informed Lambert that before getting into the car he would search her and her belongings for weapons or illegal contraband. Lambert agreed. During a search of her purse, the deputy found two clear bags with a white residue and a broken piece of a glass pipe. Lambert stated the residue would test positive for “crack”.

The deputy and Lambert went to Johnston’s residence and the deputy tried to make contact with him. There was no answer at the door.

While the deputy was transporting Lambert to the jail, she stated Johnston was so upset because he had offered her $200 cash to have sex with him and she refused. Lambert stated this is not the first time Johnston had paid for sex.
