‘CHRISTMAS CAROL’ PREFORMED AT ECS – Talk about ringing in the holidays. You couldn’t find an empty seat at the 2018 El Dorado Christian School Christmas program on Thursday evening, Dec. 6. The gymnasium has been packed in years past, but this seemed to be the biggest crowd yet. There were approximately 400 people in attendance to watch their student, grandchild, and/or sibling, perform the children’s musical, “Christmas Carol” written by Ron and Shelly Hamilton. The preschool program, which included ages 3 and 4, opened the program with, “Fear Not Shepherds”, reciting Luke 2:9-14, and singing, “Baby Jesus, We Love You.” The ECS Elementary, Kindergarten through sixth grade performed Hamilton’s Christmas Carol, directed by, ECS music teacher, Mrs. Elle Biron. The setting is the evening of Dec. 23 through Christmas morning; the background, an orphanage and the Bailey family house. Pictured are Cameron Reasoner (John Bailey in chair), Meadow Ash (Samantha Bailey, kneeling), and Sydney Vincent (Carol Bailey, sitting in chair on the right).
