ElDo FFA Camp Report 4 cc

Nine students from the El Dorado Springs FFA Chapter attended the State FFA Leadership Camp July 4-9. The camp is held at Camp Rising Sun at the Lake of the Ozarks. The week provides leadership training for over 200 students. The high school students are trained by State FFA officers as well as a Leadership Director. Students learn how to overcome obstacles and develop their communication and personal skills. The week is jam packed with activities from speech contests to leadership sessions, water sking to trap shooting. El Dorado Springs had five members receive their leadership medal. Madison Whitaker was awarded the All Around Camper award. Makenzie Melton placed in the top three in multiple speech contests. Students learned the importance of leading unlocked, unlabeled and unlimited.
