Melissa Gooden will be teaching kindergarten. Miss Gooden is an El Dorado Springs native who completed her student teaching in the El Dorado Springs Elementary and recently graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Southern State University.

Stephanie Fritts will be joining the first grade team. Mrs. Fritts completed her student teaching in El Dorado Springs and recently graduated from Western Governor’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Brooke Schwalm will join the second grade team. Mrs. Schwalm completed her student teaching in  El Dorado Springs. Brooke recently graduated from Western Governor’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Amanda Stacy will be teaching fifth grade this year. Mrs. Stacy completed her student teaching in El Dorado Springs and recently received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governor’s University.

Alexa Mays will also teach fifth grade. Mrs. Mays completed her student teaching in El Dorado Springs and  recently graduated from Missouri State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Mays will also be the assistant high school basketball coach.

Grace Rhodes will teach elementary music for us this year. Grace received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University. Grace previously served as our elementary library aide.

Kylie Taylor is joining the 4th grade team this year. Mrs. Taylor will complete her student teaching under the direction of Yvonne Worthington (retired 4th grade teacher) then continue as the teacher of record for the remainder of the year. Mrs. Taylor will graduate in December with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University.

In addition to these new hires the following teaching assignments will change this year:

Ashley Friar will move from 2nd grade to teach 1st grade.

Tabatha Culbertson will move from 1st grade to teach 2nd grade.

Brooke Miller will move from 1st grade to teach 3rd grade.

Richard Humphrey will move from 4th grade to teach 5th grade.
