On Thursday, Dec. 14, the Lady Bulldogs took on Cedar County rival Lady Tigers of Stockton. Stockton came out very well in the first quarter and forced multiple turnovers to take an early lead, but the Lady Bulldogs settled down and cut the Lady Tiger lead to 1 at the end of the 1st quarter.

In the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs would continue their run out scoring Stockton 14 to 4, to take a first half lead 25-16 into the locker room.

In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs would continue to play well and outscored Stockton 30-21 to finish the game with the win 55-37.

The Lady Bulldogs had a balanced attack offensively as Paige Esry, Brittany Stevens and Taylor Robison all scored in double figures while Kraysen Leonard, Keili Tough, Alexis Tough and Kelsey Thomas chipped in scores.

Earlier in the week the Varsity Lady Bulldogs traveled to Adrian to take on the Lady Blackhawks. Late turnovers and offensive rebounds really cost the Lady Bulldogs as they lost 55-62. Once again they had a balanced attack as four Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures: Paige Esry, Brittany Stevens, Amy Ford and Taylor Robison.

Also, that night the JV Lady Dogs were able to take home their first win against Adrian 37-32. Scoring for the JV team was Tristyn Marshall, Hannah Winburn, Taylor York, Haylee Smith, Kraysen Leonard and Sabrina Ruston.

The Lady Bulldogs were back in action Monday against Fair Grove and Tuesday against Archie – both games on the road.
