Three area youth were hurt in a one car mishap at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, on County Road 1428 five miles north of Stockton.

According to the report by Cpl. Mitch Bush, the crash occurred as the 2000 Ford Taurus driven south by Marty P. Aucoin, 17, El Dorado springs, was traveling at a high rate of speed and the driver lost control, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck trees and a building and overturned.

The report said that none of the three occupants of the car were wearing a seatbelt.

The driver was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with injuries reported as serious.

Kaylen Mings, 14, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with injuries reported as serious.

Ryan Finch, age 9, was taken by ambulance to Citizens Memorial in Bolivar with injuries reported as Moderate.
