GET READY TO RUNKLE

GET READY TO RUNKLE –  On Saturday, Nov. 4, Jenna (right) and Jordan Runkle (left), two members of Team VDK, competed in the 2017 Holiday Karate Tournament down in Neosho. Both did very well competing in this year’s Holiday Open. Jordan competed in the 7 – 8 Youth Intermediate Division and placed 1st in Traditional Weapons, 1st in Open Hand Forms and placed 1st in Point Sparring. Jenna competed in the 9 – 10 Youth Novice Division and placed 1st in Traditional Weapons, 1st Open Hand Forms and placed 1st in Point Sparring. Both Jenna and Jordan competed in the Forms Grand Champion rounds for their respective age and rank. Jordan was the runner-up for the under 17 Youth Intermediate Division and Jenna won the Grand-Champion Division for the Under 17 Youth Novice.
