THREE ECS BUFFALOS WIN MOKAN AWARDS – The ECS junior high Lady Buffalos were up early and ready to go at 5:30 Saturday morning, Oct. 7. Coach Tessie Watkins and her team traveled to Center Place Restoration School in Independence to compete in the 2017 JH MOKAN Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Buffs played strong throughout the day with good serves and awesome digs. The young team may not have placed in the top three this year, but the Lady Buffs continue to surprise everyone with their great attitude and drive to learn.

ECHS FRESHMEN SCORE AWARDS AT MOKAN – On Saturday, Oct. 14, three Lady Buffalos scored top honors at the 2017 MOKAN Volleyball Conference Tournament at Buck Run Athletic Center in Ft. Scott, KS. Pictured from left – Coach Travis Bryson; Kiely Messick, freshman, received 2nd Team All-Conference award; Jordanne Steuck, freshman, received 1st Team All-Conference award and 1st Team All-Tournament award; Lexie Buttorff, also a freshman, received 2nd Team All-Tournament award; and Coach Kelly Bryson. The Varsity Lady Buffalos travel to Joplin, on Oct. 26-28 to compete at the 2017 MCSAA State Volleyball Finals.
