ON HIS WAY TO A PIN AND WIN – Cade Whitesell, in the 138 lb. class in the Dec. 19, Tri-Wresting meet was on his way to a pin against his Hollister opponent, Christian Mayfield or Lucus Bare – the program didn’t specify. This was the only home wresting meet of the season so it was a rare opportunity for local fans to enjoy the meet. Travis Payne, head Bulldog wrestling coach, took time from his Christmas vacation to report to the Sun that his team won both meets on the evening. In the first dual against Hollister ElDo had wins from Cade Whitesell, Skyler Mansell, Hunter Boyles, Austin Reagan, Blake Holder, Bryson Rader, Keilan Jaques and Dylan Gallette. In the second dual El Dorado Springs had wins against Springfield Catholic from Taylor Wingert, Austin Reagan, Cameron Hargrove, Keilan Jaques, Dylan Gallette, and Trey Graves The Bulldogs wrestle again on Jan. 6 at the Butler Invitational Tournament.
