The Skyline Tigers boys’ basketball team visited El Dorado Tuesday, Jan. 2, and left with a 65-55 victory.

Both teams got off to a fast start and the Bulldogs led after the first quarter 20-17.

The scoring slowed down in the second quarter and the lead changed hands with the halftime score 30-29 in favor of the Tigers.

The game stayed close throughout the second half until Skyline took control with three minutes left in the game.

Derek Hayes and Trey Babcock led the Bulldogs with 12 points each. Kaiden Simmons and Brayden Housh added 10 each.

The Bulldogs played in the Skyline Tournament the week of Jan. 1.

VARSITY FAST BREAK  – The El Dorado Springs boys varsity got off to a quick start against the Skyline Tigers on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at home. Derek Hayes streaked down the court for a layup with Shelby McKinney ready in case he missed.

JV FALLS TO TIGER CUBS – On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the Skyline Tigers JV came to town to play the Bulldog pups. Here Jordan Gallette makes his contribution to keep the game close but the Bulldogs lost 45 – 51.

 

 

 

 

 

LEFT HANDED WORKS – The Bulldogs Branen Haynes kept the pressure on Skyline driving to the hoop and scoring with a left handed layup. That allowed Branden to use the left side of is body, which included an elbow, to keep the taller Tiger away from the ball.
