I have my stats done, up to the Strafford Tournament.  The Warsaw game was a great win.  They are a District and Conference opponent, so that was a huge win for us.  I thought the girls played very well. The Volleydogs won in two – 25-12 and 25-12.

Here are my stats up to this point in the season.  We are currently 14-4-1.  We finished 4th in the Strafford Tournament this weekend, which is the best finish we have ever had in that tournament.  We saw some great competition and played awesome.

This is one of the most fun teams I’ve ever coached, as well as the most talented.

STRAIGHT DOWN – During the first VolleyDogs game against the Warsaw Wildcats on the home court, Lady Bulldog Senior Taylor Robison rose the occasion sending a return straight down to the floor contributing to her total of 45 kills.

GOOD SET – A good return in volleyball starts with a good set. So far in this season, Lady Bulldog Freshman Reese Schaff has recorded 103 assists. Her teammates have returned the favor setting her up for 53 kills.

SPIKE –Lady Bulldog Freshman Tevi Gurley leads the team in just about every category with 81 kills. But her 108 assists show that she doesn’t hog the ball. Her 63 points, 19 aces and  95.8 serving percentage tell the story.
