QUITE A DAY – Shelby McKinney placed 7th in the shot put with a throw of 37’11.” He followed that up with a 3rd place discus throw of 120’6” and then a winning, school record throw of 142’8” in the javelin. Coach Brian Goatley said, “Shelby held the record coming into this year for javelin.  He set it last year. He only threw it once. It was an exhibition sport last year, but not scored. He threw it at SBU. This year he has really taken off with it.”
