First day back at school went well

El Dorado Springs Superintendent Heath Oates said the first day back at school after the Covid 19 and Thanksgiving break went “great.” He said some students were absent “but not a lot, a few  people but not many.” Q. What’s your assessment of it? “I think it went great,” Supt. Oates said.

MISS MERRY CHRISTMAS AND FRIENDS – Kraysen Leonard was crowned the 2020 Miss Merry Christmas at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov 21 along with Little Mr. Santa Nolan McCormick and Little Miss Santa Addison Hamm. Man charged with molesting child

Mauricio Gonzalez 43, El Dorado Springs, has been charged in Cedar County Circuit Court with child molestation. If convicted, he could be sentenced to five to 13 years in prison. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Tom Pyle on Dec. 2. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
