Community members are invited to participate in the Veterans Day assembly at 9:30 a.m. at the Northeast Vernon County Elementary School Campus in Schell City on Friday Nov. 11. Following a veterans’ recognition, special music by the choir and a guest speaker, there will be a reception in the cafeteria for veterans and their families.
