At its Sept. 16 meeting, the Ceddar County Ambulance Board appointed Robert Graves to the vacancy left by the resignation of John Wilson.

Board members present were Evelyn Boyle, Nadine Sinclair, Keith Kosko, Diania Johnson and Rusty Norval – presiding.

Kalena Kenney gave the financial report which was approved.

Tom Ryan gave his manager’s report which was approved.

The board received a letter from Frank Foster, the district’s attorney, lowering his yearly billing from $2,000 to $750 for 2020.

The board opened bids from ambulance service providers. They accepted the low bid from Citizens Memorial Hospial, the current provider, for $285,000 plud s 3% per year increase for years two through five.

Mercy had two options:

• Two Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulances ( one in Stockton and one in El Dorado  Springs 24/7 – $468,740 annually

• Three ALS ambulances 24/7 (one in ElDo and two in Stockton) $693,913 annually.
