As the incoming winter weather approaches, I’m confident this is when Cedar County shines brightest when friends, families, and neighbors come together to support one another.

• Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly or those who may need extra help. A simple gesture can make all the difference.

• Ensure everyone has the essentials—food, water, and heat to stay safe and comfortable during the storm.

• Avoid unnecessary travel. If the weather arrives as predicted, roads may become dangerous. Stay home if you can.

Together, we can face any challenge. Let’s show what Cedar County is all about—community, care, and resilience. Stay safe and take care of one another!
