Cedar County Library director resigns

The Cedar County Library Board of Trustees is saddened to announce that Elaina Daniels has resigned her position as Cedar County Library Director.  Elaina has served the library and our community for the past year as Library Director and has done an excellent job in promoting the library and its services, creating programs for children and adults as well as introducing new and enhanced services.  She has been a positive advocate for the library in all settings.

The board of trustees is pleased that she has agreed to stay onboard part time for a limited time to assist in the transition of her role and to support existing staff and programs.  We want to thank her for her work and commitment to the Cedar County Library and offer her our very best wishes.
