EAGLES ‘FLY HIGH’ FOR HOSPITAL – The El Dorado Springs Fraternal Order of Eagles #4279 recently contacted Cedar County Memorial Hospital to see how they could “help” with the latest COVID-19 situation. After much discussion and thought, it was decided that the hospital could best benefit from a “Glidescope” to aid in airway management of patients requiring intervention to help them breathe better. This scope will not only benefit patients with Coronavirus symptoms but also others that may suffer from a wide range of breathing problems. “We’d by glad to help” was the response from this very generous Eagles organization when we explained our need – so, we received a $2000 check last week – at “social-distance” when Ted Cain, Secretary of the Eagles presented Jeanne Hoagland, Marketing Director for Cedar County Memorial Hospital the donation at their facility. Cedar County Memorial Hospital is very thankful for the support of this community and this organization. “Thanks” FOE #4279. hem breathe better. When we explained that this could help not only with COVID-19 breathing related issues but also with a wide range of breathing problems – their immediate answer was “we’d be glad to help”. — So today I visited briefly with Ted Cain, Secretary of the Eagles, to pick up a check for $2000 — we are SO blessed to be supported by this community.
