EL DORADO SPRINGS LIONS GO SHOPPING – On Dec.14, the El Dorado Springs Lions, through their annual Shop-With-A-Lion project, were able to help nearly 25 area children have a more enjoyable Christmas. Since its beginning in 2005, the Shop-With-A-Lion project has spent over $37,000 serving more than 750 children. Funds for this project are three-fold: Individual donations, specific grants and club fundraisers. While exact details of the project cannot be disclosed due to certain Department of Family Services and Child Protection Act restrictions, the Lions of El Dorado Springs are glad to share “anonymously” in helping the less-fortunate in our community.  Photo courtesy Lion Edith Winfiel.
