Fire report for week of Oct. 10

On Monday, Oct. 11, at 2:32 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a store on east US 54 Hwy. to smoke coming from a vent in its kitchen. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.

Later that morning at 5:18 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to weather spot due to a tornado warning issued for our area. Two trucks and eight firefighters responded.
