Fire report for week of Oct. 3

On Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 4:58 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on H Hwy. north of town in St. Blair County. Three trucks and 11 firefighters responded.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, Oct. 5, 6 and 7, the Fire Department visited area day cares, headstarts and schools for Fire Prevention Week.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Fire Department, CMH-EMS and Mercy Kids hosted a Junior Firefighter event.

Saturday, Oct. 9, at 5F:02 p.m. the Fire Department was on standby at the fairgrounds for the Tractor Pull event.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, at 5:38 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a three vehicle accident one mile east of town. Three trucks and 10 firefighters responded.
