On Monday, Sept. 13, at 10:40 a.m. the fire chief responded to a location on County Rd. 1000, south of town to collect and destroy some old road flares.

On Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 6:20 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to an apartment on N. Main St. to an electrical short circuit. The chief shut down the electrical breaker.

On Friday, Sept.17, at 10:09 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to Park St and US 54 Hwy. and then to the ElDo airport. The department was needed to provide traffic control for vehicle vs person and then to set up and protect a landing zone at the airport. Two trucks and 12 firefighters responded.
