Luella Phipps, of El Dorado Springs and long-time-member of the Cedar County Historical Society, received a home-made friendship quilt as a symbol of appreciation from members of the Society in 2010, for her years of hard work and dedication. Shirley Hedges-Potts sewed the quilt and each Society member signed it. Luella decided to donate the quilt back to the Society so it could be displayed for all to enjoy at the Cedar County Museum in Stockton.
