Tops Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway, on Thursday, March 5, for their weekly weigh in and meeting.

Leader Susan led us in our TOPS and KOPS pledges. Kay led us in singing “The Place For Me”.

Twenty-eight weighed in. The chapter had a net loss of 1.4 lbs. Best loser for the week was Robbie with a loss of 5.6 lbs. Other great losses were; Sue C 2.6 lbs., Linda C 2.6 lbs, Pam 2.2 lbs., Warren 1.6 lbs., Linda H 3.0 lbs, LJ 1.4 lbs., Linda W 2.4 lbs. and Marie 1.4 lbs.

Linda H. reported on the Potato Bake to be held in the Community Center March 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you signed up to bring supplies please bring the morning of the potato bake, do not give them to Linda as she has no place to store them. Next week the potatoes will be available for pick up. If you need to buy tickets please see Sue C. They are $7 each. The sign-up sheet for workers is going around.

Marble game: Robbie won the right to draw but did not get the winning one. The pot is at $137.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Angie, Juanita and Jennifer

The chapter had a net LOSS of 22.4 lbs. for February.

Winner of free dues was Linda C.

Best loser for the month was Laura with a loss of 8.8 lbs. Laura won $9.90 for her efforts, Jennifer Chase received an award for her 5 lb. loss.

Laura received a certificate for 75 lb. loss. She also received a certificate and charm for most inches lost from July to January, She lost 35 1⁄4 inches.

Jan T received 2nd place award for most inches lost. She lost 5 1⁄2 inches.

Warren Hall received honorable mention with the loss of 3”.

KOPS: Marie B received a certificate and charm for reinstatement of her KOPS status.

Jean received a certificate and charm for 15 years as a KOPS and for KOPS in black.
