Tri-County Quilt Club report

Tri-County Quilt Club met May 1, at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. We began at 10:30 a.m. sewing, with lunch at 12:30 and the meeting began at 1:30. Thirteen members were present.

The birthday lunch was provided by Pam Walker, Ava Cortinger and Beverly Sullivans; Archie Pier gave the blessing.

At 1:30 President Mary McLeod call the meeting to order. Evonne Andersen read thank you notes from Birthright, Wings and El Dorado Springs Nursing Home.

Program was by Bobby Haskgarter demonstrating making a bow tie quilt block with a twisted center, a new twist on an old quilt pattern.

Show and tell was by Pam, Beverly, Sally, Archie, Evonne, Judy, Mary and Phyllis.

Next meeting will be June 5, at the Rockville United Methodist Church fellowship hall. For more information, call Marge at 660- 598- 4240.
