Wayside Inn Museum undergoing repairs

The Wayside Inn Museum on Spring Street in El Dorado Springs is undergoing much needed repairs to the balcony and balcony support pillars on the porch below.

Preserve Our Past Society President Faye Koger said that the GFWC Progress Club had given the Museum $2,000. Koger had also applied and received $1,000 from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. She said several other donors had given funds for the project which is being undertaken by John Yates. The museum is closed but will reopen for the Christmas Parade on Nov. 20.

The Preserve Our Past Society is the owner and operator of the Wayside Inn Museum.
