Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Linda Wansing was “What’s our Story for Jesus?” from Matthew 4:18-25. You are always welcome to join us for Worship at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Mt. Zion area has enjoyed a good week, weather has been hot but its July. Hay is being baled, corn and soybeans growing, gardens producing, calves are growing too. Out in the woods baby deer and turkeys are growing. There are lots of mushrooms, not the kind I eat, but pretty shape and size. We had a fast rain shower Sunday afternoon.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is kind of in the “Dog House.” Belle forgot to come home from grandma’s for three nights. Robin told Belle, “why do I need a dog if you stay at mom’s and didn’t tell me.  You are confined to your house.” The little guineas are in training they are making the same bug path every day; soon they will make it by themselves when mother hen weans them.

Chryshella Vandivier and baby ,Theo, were in town Tuesday morning visiting Joyce Mitchell and taking Julia Snethen to the doctor. Julia got a good report at her eye doctor. Eye  is better, but no surgery yet. John is dong better. Chryshella, Theo and Julia visited with Marge Zink and Marge got her baby fix. Mike and John Snethen went to Wheatland to the races.

Beverly Pelkey went to the doctor, getting medicine for allergies. Tom is keeping the yard mowed had to remove a fallen tree from the road.

Dixie Peterson is busy doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor. Enjoying getting phone call and mail.
