Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Leland Browning titled “Those Who Believe” from Mark 5:21-43.  You are always welcome to join us for Worship Sunday mornings at 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area has had several inches of rain this past week and cooler weather. The corn is tasseling, soybeans are growing.

Happy 51st Anniversary to Terry and Judy Piepmeier of Appleton City, and may more.

Congratulation to Dixie Peterson for being chosen Resident of the Month at Truman Lake Manor, and for celebrating her birthday and calling her news to Marge.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is happy for the rain and cooler weather; she knows making a snow angel would feel real good these hot days, Robin is proud of her new hatchel guineas. Belle likes chickens better.

Julia Snethen’s eye surgery was successful; ready for the other eye next month. Julia’s twin sister, Jane, her husband, John Young’s funeral will be July 28, 2021. Our Prayers and sympathy to the family.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey have been busy. Tom moved the round wood piles into the woodshed. He said he got an extra round of heat out of that wood. Will need to mow grass now that it has rained. Beverly has been going to exercise and  keeping the hummingbirds fed; seems like there are more of them. Several kittens have new homes.
