The morning message at Rockville United Methodist Church was by Leland Browning titled “Read the Creed” from Philippians 2:9-14. You are always welcome to join us for Worship at 9 a.m. Sunday, Women’s Bible Study Thursday at 5 p.m. lady’s quilting Thursday 1 p.m.

Mt. Zion area had Missouri weather this past week, snowing, freezing temperatures, rain, thunder, hot weather. The grass is green, leaves are growing, mushroom hunting, fishing and turkey hunting have all been good. Life is good in Mt Zion area.

Donna Harris and Beverly Pelkey have hummingbirds, some are expecting to see the rest this coming week. Donna’s daughter, Terri, was a recent visitor.

Sheri Suster is doing therapy after knee surgery in Clinton.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle enjoyed the snow; she had never made snow angels after Easter before. The chicks are growing and more chicks on the way. Robin is busy making little people blankets.

Dixie Peterson is doing well at Therman Lake Manor doing therapy.

Wanda Rector was coming home from Springfield, Mo. when she got caught in the snowstorm. She thought she was back in time when she delivered the rural mail in North Kansas. Which is not rural anymore.

Julia Snethen celebrated her birthday with a cookout hosted by son Ron. Julia did bake the blackberry cobbler she preferred instead of the birthday cake. A good time was had by all.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are keeping busy, Tom mowing the yard, glad he hadn’t mover the wood box out.  Beverly still not seen all the kittens.

Howard Peterson and Brenda Peterson were Sunday Dinner guests in the Mike and Stacy Griffith and Marge Zink home Sunday.

Rockville Hand quilters met Thursday afternoon, enjoying the afternoon quilting and visiting with our visitors.

Tri-Country Quilt Club will meet on May 3, at Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Rockville. Doors will open at 1 p.m. meeting at 1:30 p.m. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Call Marge Zink at 660-598-4240 for information.
