News from Harwood and Schell City

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and friend, Linda Loane attended a forth of July celebration at Heaven Ranch near Cedar Springs Sunday, July 4, put on by the owner, Marty Richardson, and a friend, Martha, from Arkansas. There was several in attendance. The members of the Grace United Methodist Church of El Dorado Springs were invited to attend and enjoyed grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and fireworks.

Madalyn’s kitchen, south of Schell City, is open Monday-Tuesday, closed Wednesday and open Thursday-Sunday. She does not serve her buffet on Sunday mornings.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15-3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their box.
