Mt. Zion area is enjoying spring-like weather along with mud. Spring according to the calendar is March 20. Daylight saving time starts March 14. Time marches on. Marge still hasn’t got her lettuce planted, but her granddaughter in Alabama has her garden planted.

Wanda Rector visited her daughters in Bolivar and Springfield then on to Ozark to visit a granddaughter. I know she couldn’t stay home any longer.

Over at the Robin Sigismund Farm, She learned to make tall snow angels, staring with regular size and sliding until it was 5 to 10 ft tall, getting up doing it again with a happy look. Wanting Robin to join her, Robin was happy to get the chores done and back to her knitting. Robin was glad the chickens keep laying eggs; sometimes they stop laying in a cold spell.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are doing fine. Tom did keep his dental appointment. Beverly had plenty of cat food so the cats are happy. Tom is anxious to get started cutting wood again. They used a lot of wood this past week. I didn’t miss any from the round piles. He has plenty of trees to work up.
