Democrats’ Gun Control Legislation Jeopardizes 2nd Amendment Rights

Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) issued the following statement regarding today’s gun control vote on S.2938 in the House:
“Jeopardizing our Second Amendment and violating law-abiding gun owners’ right to self-defense is the wrong approach to ending gun violence. While crime is skyrocketing across America, Washington Democrats would rather go after those who follow the law than those who break it.
In addition to weakening gun rights, legislation such as S.2938 would also provide funding for states to implement Red Flag laws – which I staunchly oppose. As such, I cannot support a bill which does not uphold the sacred rights in our Constitution.”
