Fire report for week of Jan. 29

On Thursday, Feb. 2, at 10:53 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a residence on S. Jackson for a small trash dumpster fire. One truck and six firefighters responded.
On Thursday, Feb. 2, at 8:05 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a natural cover fire on E. 350 Rd. It was a control burn and the trucks were cancelled en route. Four trucks and 14 firefighters responded.
On Friday, Feb. 3, at 3:05 a.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on W. Joe Davis St. for a possible gas leak.
On Friday, Feb. 3, at 11:22 a.m. the department was dispatched to a small grass fire on E. 500 Rd. One truck and four firefighters responded.
