American Bass Anglers Division 126 will hold a qualifying tournament Sunday, May 17 on Stockton Lake, launching out of Old State Park. Registration and weigh-in procedures will be modified to conform to state and local guide-lines. Registration will begin at 5:30 at Old State Park Ramp. Mandatory briefing will be done on the water prior to take-off. Anglers must be in the water with engines off at 6:30 a.m. Check-in time will be 3:00 p.m.

Weigh-in will begin shortly after 3:00 p.m. Cash, points and prizes will be awarded following weigh-in.  Prizes come from local businesses, including Albers Marine, Bud’s Baits, Cabins On the Lake, Enrique’s Mexican Grill, Ken’s Kafe, Petes Convenience Stores, Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce, Stockton State Park Marina, Stockton Lake Outfitters, The Bait Shop, Woods Supermarket, and Woody’s Fast Stop.

ABA is a national tournament circuit designed especially for the week-end angler. Boaters and non-boaters from age 14 are encouraged to compete. Partners will be assigned by random draw prior to the briefing.

ABA membership is $35/yr and allows the angler to fish any ABA tournament in any state. Tournament entry fee if $70/angler, $10 Big Bass option pot and $5 50/50 option pot.
