Beverly Gail Ahring, 70, Independence, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Home in Olathe, KS.
Beverly was born Aug. 25, 1951 in Kansas City, to Harold and Faye (Cargill) Julian and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Van Horn High School in 1969, and has served on the Alumni Association for a number of years. She had worked for over 33 years for St. Luke’s Plaza Hospital in the purchasing department until she retired. She was Baptist by faith and had attended Rockwood Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and baking, which beautifully complimented her love of family time and her favorite holiday, Christmas. Each year, Beverly loved attending Santacaligon Days on the Independence Square, indulging in shopping and creating lasting memories with her family. Jason, her son, was everything to her.
Beverly is survived by her son, Jason (Sarah) Ahring – Overland Park, KS; two grandchildren, Caleb and Audrey Ahring; and former husband, Bob Ahring and a large extended family cousins and other friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rick Julian.
Cremation with a memorial service Friday, June 17, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St; Independence, MO 64055.
