Charlotte Messick

Charlotte Marie (Rodgers) Messick, 74, El Dorado Springs, passed away March 16, 2020.  She was born in Oil City, PA, the daughter of Vern O’Neil and Marie Alva (Rodenbaugh) Rodgers.

Survivors include four children: Thelma (Marcus) Breshears, Sherry Hudson, John Dennem, and Richard Tigner; one sister, Agratha Daniels; one brother, Danny Rodgers; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding Charlotte in death were her parents; husband, Larry Gene Messick; three brothers: Clarence, Joseph, and Timothy Rodgers; two sisters, Sandria May Knapp and Sharon Kicenski; son, Charles Tigner; grandson, Shane O’Neil Ingerson; and great-grandson, Brantlee O’Neil Messick.

Charlotte worked for many years as a CNA.  She loved her grandkids more than life.  She had the biggest heart.

Final disposition was cremation.  No services are planned at this time.  Final arrangements were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
