Chris Riley

Chris Riley, 53, El Dorado Springs, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with Dale Swift officiating.  Memorials are suggested to family choice an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born Jan. 2, 1968, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Willard Wayne Riley and Roberta Bennett Riley.  On Oct. 30, 1998 he married Jonna Silvey who preceded him in death on Feb. 9, 2005. Chris worked in construction and factory jobs prior to becoming disabled.  He attended Assembly of God churches.

Survivors include five children: Amber Austin – Burns, KS, Cody Austin – Burns, KS, Beth Roark (R.J.) – Eldon, Sierra Toole (Nik) – El Dorado Springs, Kaitlyn Riley – El Dorado Springs; two grandchildren, Ethan and Emery; four siblings: Robert Riley (Mary) – Bartlesville, OK, Madeline Scharnhorst (Jim) – Marshall, Kay George – Slater and Randy Riley; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

In addition to his parents and wife, Chris was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Riley.
